interesting how often I go to a terf's blog to block them & the terfs they reblog from, and between all their "normal" terf and radfem posts they're also reblogging posts about transmasc experiences if not posts directly about fighting "transandrophobia".
obviously many terfs are transphobic towards transmasc and tme trans people and it's not like these communities are particularly safe for tme trans people. like I'm writing this as a tme person who has experienced transphobia from terfs.
but it really goes to show how wrong people are when they claim tme people (trans or cis) are the primary targets of terfs, or even equally as targeted as tma people are. because like I'm sorry but maybe there's a reason why I keep seeing transandrobro blogs pop up in terf's reblogs. maybe the concept of transandrophobia plays directly into the "biological sex-based oppression" terfs believe in. & maybe transmisogyny is real and if you aren't educated on it/fighting it in a purposeful, not vibes-based, way then you're liable to enabling it regardless of your personal labels.
#also thinking about the ''trans friendly'' tme person I know irl who's started falling into bio-essentialist terf rhetoric#because she followed the pipeline there directly from ''trans people who were cafab are uniquely oppressed''
